Don Tomas Cincuenta Robusto
- Size : 5 1/2 x 50
- Strength: Medium
Don Tomás embraces its Honduran heritage in a maduro expression that consistently delivers the rich flavor and balanced smoothness that made the original Don Tomás brand an incredibly pleasurable smoke. In homage to the original Don Tomás blend, Don Tomás Maduro features Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, imparted with the sweet richness of a Connecticut Maduro binder and wrapped in bold Connecticut Broadleaf. Don Tomás Maduro is a tale of two cities: rich and creamy, with just the right touch of sweetness.

Good burn and draw. First two thirds tasted good, last third was unusually harsh and bitter. Also no original band under the plain one. You can probably find better sticks for the price ($10.44 as of writing), won’t buy again for that reason.

The cigar itself looks lovely to look at, clean, smooth and sleek. But apon lighting it up… so spicy like a mouth full of black pepper. I endured it and the smoke was less abrasive. It got a little bitter close to the end.

Cincuenta Robusto, absolutely loved it. Mild – Medium, Lites easily good solid ash 2-2.5 in. , 50 min. smoke, great draw, even burn, no touch ups or relites, great aroma, lots of smoke, creamy, hint of sweetness, leather and cedar, no harshness or bitterness, great smoke. I usually only smoke to the band but on this one I removed it and went right to the nub it was so good. Wish it was available in churchill or toro size so to get that goodness a lot longer.
