About H. Upmann Cigars
Herman Upmann was a banker from Germany who so loved Cuban cigars that he moved to Havana in 1844 and set up as both a banker and cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920’s but his cigars live on as a fine example of an elegant, light to medium flavoured Habano. H. Upmann’s blend s composed exclusively of filler and binder tobaccos grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone. Made using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally by hand technique

Relative nubile. Found these and love them. Great, great, way to spend 1.5 hours on a deck.

this is a great cigar, the best so far this year at the cottage. Lots of flavors, even burn and perfect draw. Highly recommended.

I ordered two of these cigars to avoid any construction issues ruining the smoking experience.
Unfortunately, I had issues with both cigars. The taste was good and they burned very well, but they were both extremely tight to draw through. Sadly, the draw didn’t improve and I was without a cigar tool at the time; both cigars almost sealed completely just past halfway and I was forced to discard both at that point.
If I have another experience with this cigar and it turns out better, I’ll be sure to update my review.
