Brazilian Cubra and Mata Fina tobaccos give Davidoff Escurio Robusto cigars their distinctive balance of sweetness, saltiness and fresh pepper. This medium intensity 4 1/2 x 54 Robusto is handmade in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Brazilian Cubra binder, and a complex blend of Brazilian and Dominican filler tobaccos.
The dark, oily Ecuadorian wrapper brings warm oakwood, dark chocolate and subtle citrus character to the blend. Brazilian Cubra adds aromatic spice and savoury depth, while Mata Fina contributes natural sweetness and a rich tobacco core. Dominican San Vicente, Piloto and Olor leaves create the smooth, creamy texture that keeps the blend balanced as its Brazilian character becomes more pronounced.
The smoke begins with a savoury mix of saltiness, wood and pepper before moving into dark chocolate, coffee, leather and roasted nuts. A creamy sweetness develops through the middle, joined by light citrus and fresh spice on the finish. Davidoff Escurio Robusto is well suited to espresso, aged rum, a dark ale or a single malt Scotch whisky.

These are one of my fav’s I like the 4 1/2 × 54. I like to enjoy with a good shot of Jamison Irish whisky.

The brine/salt note creates an interesting flavor profile. Really well-constructed and a good burn line, which is no surprise because it’s Davidoff. Well worth trying and would buy a few times.

Good draw and burn. Paired it with 12 years Glenfiddich and was great

I agree with the other reviewers – Draw, taste and construction were fantastic. Bearly let it rest for a couple days after shipping. I also noticed the brine/salt note, and enjoyed it. My favorite Davidoff is the Nicaraguan, but this one is definately up there for me personally.

My favorite cigar. Very unique profile, decently strong but not overpowering. Goes great with whiskey or coffee. I’ve gone through two boxes or so and have never had an issue with construction, draw, burn, etc. Can’t recommend it enough.
