Alec Bradley Prensado Gran Toro pairs a Honduran Trojes Corojo 2006 wrapper with traditional box pressed construction in a substantial 6 x 54 format.
A Nicaraguan Jalapa binder surrounds Honduran and Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos. This combination complements the wrapper’s rich character, delivering a medium to full bodied blend with coffee, pepper and spice.
Cinnamon adds warmth, while vanilla and natural sweetness provide contrast to the darker roasted flavours. The profile balances savoury depth with sweeter accents rather than relying on strength alone.
Alec Bradley Prensado Gran Toro is handmade in Honduras, Prensado honours traditional Cuban cigar making through entubado filler rolling, a triple cap and box pressing. The Gran Toro presents that construction in broader proportions than the line’s Robusto, retaining its distinctive pressed shape.

Disappointed, I possibly had too high of an expectation for this stick after reading such raving reviews, “Rated #1 with a 96 score”. My review is as follows, good draw with plenty of smoke, quite smooth with an underlying pepper note, zero noteable flavors to speak of, as the cigar progresses it slowly loses the smoothness and continually ramps up with the pepper note. Prensado rest in peace.
