The subtle notes of pepper and spice aren’t so subtle at all. I’d say this cigar has the strongest taste of white and black pepper I have ever had the pleasure of smoking. It’s a staple in my humidor and I order them religiously whenever in stock. It’s actually my personal favourite cigar for its construction, quality control, flavour, and price point.

Unfortunately, because the reviews gave this an overall four-star rating, I bought two of them. The first one burned unevenly and had a very strong harsh smoke. It was a complete disappointment. The second one burned much better and seemed to be rolled tighter, but it was still a fairly harsh smoke. Because I’m not a quitter I forced myself to finish the stick and I did pick up some notes of cherry and chocolate near the end but I definitely would not buy this again.
