CAO Cigars Flathead Camshaft
- Size: 5 1/2 x 54
- Strength: Full
Inspired by hot rods and pin-up girls, CAO Flathead is a box pressed collection that hits on all cylinders. Hand-shaped to deliver a striking flat top, the cigar features a brawny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and a blend that’s heavy on Nicaraguan leaf. Its frontmarks are named for engine parts, but the tribute to muscle cars doesn’t end there. Flathead gives a nod to the muscle car engine, with a lid that’s easily removed and used as wall art. There’s also a collectible, pin-up girl flysheet that’s enclosed in the box.

These cigars are great! They are smoking great with a nice even burn and very smooth. I found this cigar to be in the medium flavor range which is perfect for my taste. I also love the whole idea behind this line of cigars. Each cigar is named after a car part, the boxes are designed to look like engine parts and the numbers on the box are the length and ring gauge of each cigar. I also love the nostalgic picture of the pin-up girls you receive in the box! Great idea CAO!

Great cigar I like the chunky feel and excellent draw. Taste is medium to full. I recommend for sure

An excellent smoke from start to finish.

At first I found that at first light, it was almost too light to even notice. Once I hit the half way mark, the burn became inconsistent. After a few seconds of doctoring, it was good.. no.. GREAT to go! Really full body and a great smoke from there on out!
Weak start, strong finish. Thus the 3/5.
P.S – Ash trail never exceeded more than 1.5 inches. For those who are interested.

This cigar delivers. It’s rich, burns well. When smoked slowly and cool, it produces a sweet and pleasurable smoke that delivers flavours
of leather and an earthy sweetness. A great cigar

Perfect cigar if your looking to make the jump from a medium to a full cigar. You will probably have to make some corrections with your lighter during the smoke but you can do that with much more expensive cigars also. Biggest problem is there is no manufacturer band on it. Don’t know why that bothers me. It just does.

Beautiful smoke….medium, beautiful wrapper, lots of flavor right down to the nub ( very rare in my experience), nice aroma, got 1 hr 15 min out of this beauty. Only drawback would be I had to relight 3 times… but this tends to be common with boxpress cigars. Would recommend and will be ordering again.

A bit expensive but it’s up for debate.

Would not stay lit at all. Had really bad uneven burn the whole time. Tasted like smoking a ashtray. There was also a very hard spot on mine while the rest felt softer. Would not recommend or purchase again.
