Casa Magna Colorado Gran Toro is a 6 x 58 Nicaraguan puro with a Cuban seed, shade grown Jalapa wrapper, offering a wide ring gauge in a Toro length. It brings the Colorado flavour profile in a thick and manageable size.
It is a smooth, full flavoured smoke that offers rich coffee notes balanced by a cedary sweetness and a hint of raisins. The reddish Colorado wrapper grown in Jalapa adds sweetness, and the 58 ring gauge gives a cool, generous draw.
Casa Magna Colorado was created by Manuel Quesada and Nestor Plasencia and is made at the Plasencia factory in Nicaragua. Every part of the blend, the wrapper, binder and filler, comes from Nicaragua, which is why it is described as a Nicaraguan puro. The Colorado blend combines Ligero and Viso long filler grown in a few different regions of Nicaragua. Colorado refers to the reddish brown colour of the wrapper.

Construction is ok. Burn is a bit uneven. I would call it the gentle giant. Medium strength at the finish. Not a lot of flavor. Good cigar for beginners.

It’s a great classic Dominican with a twist! You still get the unique Quesada Dominican twang but the profile is more mellow in this size
