Ooh, I like this one. Very dense, tight build, but still has an easy draw to it.
First half delivers a palate of robust earthy grainy flavours. Imagine a loaf of barley rye bread that was terribly overcooked then sliced and served with a very thin layer of black strap molasses.
The second half intensified the flavour, but with less complexity. Take that slice of barley rye, scrape off the molasses, then put it in the toaster five or six times. After it’s nice and burnt, drag it through the dirt a little. There’s the kind of flavour I was getting off of this smoke. Intense, but not in a good way. I would still recommend it if you like a robust earthy flavour profile.
