Escobar Ecuadorian Connecticut Gordo stands out for its large 6 1/4 x 58 format wrapped in a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf that lets AJ Fernandezs mild to medium blend stay creamy yet flavourful from start to finish. This gordo pairs the smooth Connecticut wrapper with an Ecuadorian Habano binder and an intricate mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, creating a harmonious core that balances softness with character. Each draw produces velvety smoke layered with cedar, subtle spice, a touch of sweetness, and nuanced nuttiness, all supported by consistent combustion and solid construction that suit longer, unhurried sessions. Ideal for both newer smokers and seasoned aficionados who enjoy bigger ring gauges, this Escobar Connecticut gordo delivers a refined, easygoing experience in a substantial format crafted in Nicaragua under AJ Fernandezs direction.

My first test of this Cigar didn’t go well as hoped. Im afraid I had lack of my tastebuds that evening. I still enjoyed it but last evening I smoked a second and can share the following.
Both cigars burned and drew the same. No difference in that at all. Both strong & sharp burn from crown of its head to the soul of its foot.
It sits in the middle of light and medium. It goes back an forth ever so slightly but remains mild-medium. I swear I can snell and taste the habano binder on this stick. It’s slight but is there the whole time. I really enjoyed the filler tobacco (nic & hun.). Both very pleasing and with the sharp amber. This was a great Cigar and would recommend to a person that only smokes a new world once in a blue moon.
