Price definitely attached me to purchase (5) of these. However, price ($4.52 at purchase) in this case does indicate quality. Poor draw, poor construction, with wrapper unravelling as I was smoking. One dimensional in taste. Meh! Perhaps the next time I light one up will prove differently.

Obvioudly the price is inviting and with it being a Gurkha, I had thought there would be a certain level of quality but was I ever wrong. As I am always in favor of a good brand having a cheaper cigar for a daily smoke through the week, I am shocked that Gurkha would ever offer this under their name.

I order 5 since I like to experiment with cheap cigars. This cigar was easy to draw, lots of smoke, burned well, no wrapper unravelling and I smoked it until the end. It was consistent. It is a mild to medium at best. Light bouquet of vanilla and coffee but not intense in flavor. I think it’s worth smoking another one and maybe more.

I understand that everyone has a different palate and personal preference but for me, this is a great cigar for the price. I have tried several other brands in the same price range and they don’t compare. I had no issue with the draw or wrapper coming undone, etc. It is a smooth/light smoke with a pleasant aftertaste of spicy vanilla. I paired with a coffee so not sure if that note came through.

Great cigar , I would say it’s mild not mild-medium but I wouldn’t complain at all , burns perfect , no cracks , wrapper stayed tight to the end . Remember people these are cigars! It could cost $3 or 30$ You may smoke one and love it and the next is falling apart and you hate it and can’t get a draw, that’s why I pick my cigars from the flavours when smoked. Each and every one has their own characteristics. Especially when they’re hand rolled! Light one up and enjoy!

Great for a mild/medium cigar (properly humidified) as most cigars regardless of price will not be good otherwise

Finally had a chance to spark one of these up. Ordered them a while back and left them in the package how Cigar Chief packaged them up, which was fantastic by the way, thanks Chief for how you ship out your cigars.
They were soft due to them being left the way they came, not a complaint as I like my cigars more moist.
One thing for sure these are short fill. Ash fell off like a cigarette. The draw was good. the build quality was OK, and just OK. Not what I was expecting for this brand. Flavour was ok as well. I have had three out of the bundle, and all burned even so points for that. They went out nicely if you leave them. The relight wasn’t harsh, tasted the same after a relight. The wrapper held on.
For the price, I think they’re a good choice for an every day smoke.
All three I made them last over 2 hours with no harshness.
Would I buy again…sure, great for the drive home, great to walk the dog, great for if you need your fix.
Just keep in mind for the price I don’t think you can go wrong. Are they memorable, no. Again at $6 a stick in this province with our taxes and everything else that crazy expensive they fit the bill.

Great stick for the price. As said in other reviews, short fill so the ash does fall off but that’s not a huge concern for me. Awesome to have for friends when they come over and we are all just sitting around talking. For an everyday smoke I would 100% buy again.

As I type, I’m smoking the 8th from the box. I’m either very lucky or truly blessed. Easily held an inch of ash, even draw and burn with the mid-mild temper. Guys…….ya gotta have the right humidity before making any reviews. I’d readily pay 10 clams for a puff. Not a suggestion CC………..
