About Joya de Nicaragua Cigars
Nicaraguan Strong
Spicy and Robust. Antaño, in Spanish, literally means “yesteryear”, a word that expresses the soul of the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970. We crafted this cigar as a tribute to the power and essence of the “Puro” that helped build our legendary brand.
Made exclusively by hand and entirely of Nicaraguan harvested tobaccos, this cigar is an ultra robust spicy smoke with earthy finish, unbridled body and aroma, which showcases the authentic Nicaraguan “Puro”.

A decent tasting cigar – quite mild. It’s a well constructed cigar with a nice smooth outer wrapper. The description says it has a mild woody taste which I found to be accurate but I was expecting bit more flavour from the Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper; however it was smooth and relaxing none the less. It smoked nicely down to the nub before getting hot with a nice even burn that stayed beautifully lit through the entire smoke. Overall a decent tasting cigar but it was a bit too mild for my taste.
