Individual aluminum tubes protect The Griffin’s No. 300 Tubos cigars and make this refined Dominican Lonsdale a convenient choice for travel, gifting or keeping in a humidor. Made by Davidoff, this mild to medium cigar measures 6 1/4 x 44 and uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over aged Dominican binder and long filler tobacco.
The smooth Connecticut wrapper gives the blend a creamy texture, gentle sweetness and a clean, aromatic finish. Aged Dominican tobacco from the Cibao Valley adds cedar, toasted nuts, sweet hay and subtle herbal notes without bringing excessive strength. Its slender 44 ring gauge allows the wrapper to play a prominent role, creating a mellow profile that remains flavourful and balanced.
The cigar begins with cream and soft cedar, followed by toasted almond, light wood and a touch of natural sweetness. A mild herbal spice develops through the middle before the smoke finishes cleanly with cedar and nuts. The Griffin’s No. 300 Tubos pairs well with coffee, Champagne, light rum, a crisp lager or a mild single malt Scotch whisky.

Paul Papadopoulos –
Although not necessarily in my flavour profile wheelhouse. this cigar is a nice departure from the usual sticks I reach for. Mild, slightly creamy, definitely nutty with cedar for the first half. A touch of hay, but enough sweet grass and hint of sweet spice to let me enjoy this throughout. Paired excellently with our Cigar Chief Single Smalt Whiskey.
