Camacho Cigars Connecticut Robusto
- Size: 5 x 50
- Strength: Mild-Medium
This is one Camacho smoke that doesn’t kick in the door. It knocks. And enters with a mild, smooth taste. But don’t mistake mildness for weakness. This smoke is 100% Camacho. With a spicy kick. Boldness meets balance.
The Camacho Connecticut is the perfect smoke for those craving something “milder-mannered”, but don’t want to sacrifice flavor. This is boldness meets balance. All the rich, deep flavor and spicy kick you’d expect from Camacho, without the knock-down power. If the name of the game is big flavor and smooth enjoyment, then the Camacho Connecticut’s got you covered.

I was pleasantly surprised by this stick. It indeed is very mild yet presents excellent flavours. It went very well with fruity NE hazy IPA. One of my new favourites.

Huge flavour bomb, big nicotine buzz. These are pretty strong for something so mild, so be careful.
That being said, this is absolutely a recommendation.

Was spicier than expected for a mild-medium Connecticut stick. I personally preferred the corojo red, but this was still a satisfying cigar. Very rich in cedar and the peppery spice kicks in half way through. Still fairly creamy yet tart. Was a very consistent burn all the way through, which is always my experience with comacho. It might be for you if you like tart cedar.

Great cigar, smoke is perfect , construction, flavor profile was smooth, only reason i give 4 star is it did NOT come with camacho Label, came with the green garbage label. It didnt say in the description that it would come with plain label. Usually cigar chief is very accurate. I will definitely buy again but from someone with proper labels.

Let me start by saying that my favorite overall wrapper is the Connecticut shade as in the Oliva Connecticut reserve, which is what i compare all Connecticut shade cigars to. This Camacho Connecticut is my worst experience in shade wrappers by far. Right at lightup i get a strong pepper spice killing my throat and sinuses through half the first third. Got slightly milder near end of the 1/3 and brought out some nice flavors of vanilla cream, sweetness, earth, cedar, leather and nut. However, all these fine flavors were overshadowed by the spicy pepper still annoying on the throat although much milder now. The intensity of the spice made me quite light headed to the point where i had to leave the last third for later since i didn’t want to throw away $15 CDN dollars. Overall construction is excellent, however, with an even burn, nice ash and no damage. To conclude i got zero satisfaction from this sampling and i am glad i only ordered 2. The last one i will leave in the humidor for a bit to be given a second chance later on as i usually do. Pretty sure i won’t reorder and will stick with Oliva since i love my shades to be dessert like and with little to no spice. Of course all palates are different so no offence to those that love this one. But for me it’s a big NO. Overall rating 2/5.

Medium strength, but I’ve had smoother smoke in stronger cigars. Very spicy and rather bitter taste. Uneven burn. Although the wrapper is nice, the fill is subpar in my opinion. All in all, not very enjoyable but decent smoke.
