It is finished with a dark, oily Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper naturally aged for at least six years before spending an additional 14 months in bourbon barrels. The extended barrel-aging process gives the wrapper its deep color and adds a distinctive, refined bourbon-barrel character to the blend.
A Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long fillers complete the cigar, with tobaccos sourced from the Perdomo family’s farms in Estelí, Condega, and the Jalapa Valley.
