The 5 1/2 x 54 format combines an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with a Brazilian Arapiraca binder and Nicaraguan fillers drawn from the country’s key tobacco growing regions, including Estelí, Jalapa, Condega, and Ometepe. The blend develops with dark earth, cedar, leather, roasted nuts, black cherry, mocha, dark chocolate, coffee, white pepper, paprika, and warm baking spice. Its broad, box pressed shape offers a comfortable hold and an even draw.
Azulejo takes its name from the blue glazed decorative tiles associated with Portugal, reflected in the line’s blue accented presentation.
