I’m having buyers remorse over these. Bought 6 and “smoked” 2 so far if you can call it smoking. Like sucking on a stick. Originally bought the Maduro torpedos and they were rather tight as well which is why I wanted to try these to see if they’d be better. I’m going to leave the rest of them in the humidor until next spring to see if they improve and I’ll review them again after that.

Ok, so I’m amending my first review. The first two I smoked were rolled too tight but the rest of them smoked like a dream. Mild to medium with a smooth silky wrapper and a nice even burn. Earlier this season I tried a Arturo Fuente Chateau torpedowhich cost $25. If I had put these two torpedoes side by side I don’t think I could have told the difference as the size, silky wrapper, mouth feel and taste/flavour were almost identical. I will definitely buy these again, although I’m hopeful not to get the ones with too tight a draw. A very nice torpedo for the price.
