A dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper surrounds an Ecuadorian Habano binder and premium Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. The blend is medium to full in body, combining the Broadleaf wrapper’s natural sweetness and earthiness with the deeper spice, strength and roasted character of Nicaraguan leaf.
The profile opens with a burst of pepper and charred oak before developing notes of espresso, dark chocolate, cocoa, cedar, leather, warm toast, rich earth and coffee cake. Sweet red pepper, cinnamon, dried red fruit and subtle caramel-like sweetness emerge as the cigar progresses, helping balance its darker coffee and pepper notes. Incredible well aged high priming tobacco!!! It’s a Lancero so you have to smoke it elegantly and softly and if so then you will be rewarded! It’s best lit with a match I’ve found due to the size. It’s a full flavoured cigar that intensifies more with that beautiful wrapper flavour!

This was my first experience with the Paul Stulac Red Screaming Sun Lancero, and it made a strong initial impression with its smooth, refined flavor profile. Flavor was excellent. Great evening smoke, but the very tight draw was a turn-off. I had to use my unplugger multiple times to get the desired output. Almost no draw to start with. I have another in the humidor, so hopefully the draw issue was a one-off.
