Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Dukes is a Full strength 5 1/2 x 54 cigar with an Ecuador Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. It opens with a burst of red pepper and settles into a dense, brooding smoke.
It opens big with a burst of red pepper, then eases off the throttle and settles onto the palate with dense, multi layered notes of dark fruit, earth and charred meat. The flavour is at once dense and approachable, with a brooding, muscular structure.
La Imperiosa was originally a Cuban brand from the early 1900s, and its name translates to “the imperative”, or that which is absolutely necessary or required. The artwork and band were inspired by the original Cuban vista and band of years gone by.
At Full strength, Crowned Heads La Imperiosa Dukes suits experienced smokers who want a strong cigar with old world character. It is a straightforward cigar that is simple to appreciate, with a consistent burn and a draw that stays comfortable from start to finish, which makes it a reliable pick for newer smokers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
