AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes Gordo is a medium-to-full-bodied handmade cigar crafted in Nicaragua in a substantial 6 1/2 x 58 box-pressed format. Inspired by the fine art of cigar making, the Bellas Artes line combines tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Brazil beneath AJ Fernandez’s distinctive proprietary Rojita hybrid wrapper.

The Rojita wrapper blends Connecticut Shade, Corojo 99, and Havana 2000 tobaccos to create a warm, reddish-brown leaf with aromatic sweetness and spice. A Nicaraguan binder holds a select long-filler combination from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Brazil. Together, the blend delivers a balanced, layered profile of cedar, espresso, cocoa, roasted nuts, cinnamon, earth, leather, black pepper, and natural sweetness.

The wide 58 ring gauge offers generous smoke output and a cool, slow burn, while the box-pressed shape gives the cigar a comfortable feel in the hand. Bellas Artes Gordo is an excellent choice for a relaxed evening smoke or a pairing with aged rum, bourbon, espresso, or a dark beer.
