AJ Fernandez Enclave Toro combines an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper with a distinctive African Cameroon binder for a richly layered, medium to full bodied Nicaraguan blend. Nicaraguan long fillers, including AJF Piloto Cubano and AJF Select tobaccos, bring forward notes of cedar, pepper, cinnamon, earth and baking spice.
Hand rolled in Nicaragua, this 6 x 52 Toro has an aromatic character, a smooth structure and a satisfying balance of spice and natural sweetness. It is a refined choice for smokers who appreciate traditional craftsmanship and a complex, Cuban inspired flavour profile.

Very good cigar with an excellent construction. Perfect draw and cool burning with clouds of smoke. Earthy, leathery, with subtle hints of cocoa and spice. An enjoyable medium bodied cigar. Two thumbs up!

I really liked this smoke. Wasn’t sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. Nice even burn, great, earthy and leathery scent with cocoa and coffee.. the occasional citrus and minty notes would pop up. Interesting cigar. Great value and fun smoke.

MY REVIEW IS AS FOLLOWS, EXCELLENT DRAW AND PLENTY OF SMOKE. IT IMMEDIATELY STARTS KICKING OUT HINTS OF CHOCOLATE, FOLLOWED BY NOTES OF NUTMEG AND CINNAMON. ALL THE WHILE HAVING AN UNDERLYING SUBTLE TASTE OF CAYENNE SWEET SPICE. THE REASON I ONLY GIVE IT 4STARS IS BECAUSE ONCE I REACHED THE FIRST OF THE TWO PART BAND THINGS STARTED TO GO DOWNHILL. BITTERNESS PROGRESSIVELY GOT WORSE SO I CHOSE TO OPEN IT UP AND DISCOVERED WHAT I HAD SUSPECTED A VERY LARGE STEM, PRETTY DISSAPOINTINIG WHEN THAT DAMN STEM IMPACTED ALMOST HALF THE CIGAR. STILL VERY TEMPTED TO BUY MORE BECAUSE IT HAD TO BE ONE OF THE MOST FLAVORFUL CIGARS I HAVE SMOKE IN QUITE A WHILE.

Generally excellent stcks, although a few cigars had a quite a tight draw. All in all a good experience.

This was a pleasant cigar! Fantastic draw, good smoke output, nice burn time, beautiful construction, and the flavours were awesome. You could definitely taste the earthy, leathery notes a long with the spice, cedar and cinnamon.

Cold draw – Straight cut; light wood taste not much development.
1/3 – On the initial light, straight up there is a mild tingling sensation on the palate. Picked up some mild notes of black pepper, baking spices and young wood. The body and strength is light to medium. Razor sharp burn line with a nice white ash. Nice retro hale aroma, nice and gentle. So far it is a gentle smoke with not too much of a challenge.
2/3 – The Nicaraguan body and strength really shows up here. The wood note becomes more dense and the leather taste and texture starts to show up. The finish is short in terms of taste but the tingle on the palate lingers.
3/3 – On the final third I would place this as full body and strengthen. The mature dense wood aroma took over. The spicy note amplified; not recommended for beginners more for a mature smoker looking for a challenge. Strong metal note on the back end.
Overall – I lit this cigar with a soft flame on a cedar splint. The construction is superb with a razor-sharp burn line throughout my journey. The draw is superb with great construction, although I need to touch up near the end. I have this in my humidor for over 3 months perhaps it needs more time to be more well rounded. Pares well with a fruity espresso, personally I would stay away from the more bitter espresso as this stick is lacking sweetness. For spirits I would suggest to go for something sweet like a bourbon or Glenmorangie 10. It might be a good idea to sip on some ice water to cool down the palate from the over powering aroma. It was a wild journey from mild to full bodied and strength. Personally, I would give it 90/100.

Excellent construction, light but enjoyable draw. Strong on combustion but that might be due to the shaggy foot. Seemed to taper a bit from head to foot. Settled in quickly to med+ strength, with some pepper on the palette & retro. Not sweet but robust earthy taste. Pairs well with Sherry cask scotch or Bourbon.

Purchased a bunch in February 2026. I love the Enclave line. Pepper and earth taste. Pairs well with Scotch or Irish whiskey. Bourbon stays at the bottom of my liquor cabinet for now. And yes I will change my last name. !!!
