About AJ Fernandez Cigars
AJ’s first collaboration with his Father Ismael is a nod to the discovery of tobacco by Christopher Columbus and its introduction to the rest of the world in 1492.
Raised in Cuba and steeped in the rich tradition of Fernandez cigar legacy, AJ Fernandez produces unparalleled premium cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua. Ensuring superior quality, the day-to-day operations at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez are managed under the watchful eye of AJ himself.
Through a fusion of inherited technique and learned patience, Fernandez’ long filler tobaccos are grown from prized seeds which are proprietary only to the Fernandez family. Perhaps the most essential quality of the AJ Fernandez line of cigars is the perspective and motivation of AJ, as well as the history of the Fernandez family.

One of my top picks. Roasted coffee, slight sweetness, dark bold flavors throughout. Excellent burn all the way through, almost held the ash until the end. Would definitely purchase a box.

The first one I smoked was phenomenal, would’ve rated 5 stars if they were all as good. Perfect burn, flavour and draw. I purchased a couple more and none of them compared to the first. Poor draw, poor burn and mediocre at best. Not sure what went wrong but if you get a good stick they’re amazing.

Really enjoyed this stogie, at any price point it was superb, for me it was like the foam of a top barrista’s mocha, chocolaty with rumours of white peppercorn, a mature tingle I could feel in my jingle, it burns fast, I would recomend a generous cut too 3/4s of the taper for a good draw, I was left wanting more and more…….
