AJ Fernandez New World Connecticut Robusto combines a smooth Connecticut Shade wrapper with a darker Mexican San Andrés binder, creating a creamy yet flavourful alternative to a traditional mild Connecticut blend. Brazilian and Nicaraguan fillers add depth to the 5 x 50 Robusto, with balanced notes of cedar, cream, toasted nuts, earth and subtle pepper.
Hand rolled in Nicaragua, this rounded Robusto offers a mild to medium bodied profile with a refined draw and a clean finish. It is well suited to smokers looking for approachable Connecticut wrapper character with added richness from the San Andrés binder and Brazilian tobacco.

Very enjoyable smoke with some complexities. Flavours include cedar wood with wet leather, an underlying reaching taste of candy apple and anise during the second third with a finish of cedar and white pepper. Great even burn with clouds of white smoke with every draw. Recommended. 4.5 stars.

As a big fan of maduro cigars I was not expecting much from this Connecticut wrapper cigar………big mistake !! This is one fabulous, smooth and very tasty cigar that has a permanent place in my humidor

Very nice cigar, mild flavour, smooth all the way. I always buy them.

This has been one of the best smokes I’ve had. I usually like a darker cigar but this one has been one of the best Connecticut wrappers I’ve ever had. It had a lot of flavours, perfect burn and draw with a perfect 50 minute smoke time. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a smooth smoke with still lots of flavour. I’m definitely buying a box of these next time.

Underwhelming for me. Good construction and burned well, but the flavour ranged from nothing special to downright bad on a couple of draws. Probably won’t revisit this one.

These things are a hit and miss I got 5 of them ! They look great well constructed but taste bad I had a very tight draw on 3 of them almost running out of breath trying to draw a good cloud. won’t try again or maybe just not my type of blend !

This cigars best quality is consistency. When I want a no fuss smoking experience, this is my go too. Construction is always top notch. No issues with cracking or tight draws, and burns fairly straight most of the time. The flavour is good, not great, milder with a nuttiness. Cigar Chief is great as always with the best prices and fast shipping.
