Arturo Fuente FFOX PerfecXion No. 5 is the smallest regular-format cigar in the flagship Fuente Fuente OpusX range: a full-bodied 4 7/8 x 40 Dominican Petit Corona. Its slim ring gauge concentrates the character of the OpusX wrapper and creates a direct, aromatic and focused expression of the blend in a shorter smoking format.

The PerfecXion No. 5 is a true Dominican puro, made entirely with Dominican-grown wrapper, binder and filler tobacco. A proprietary Dominican Sun Grown Rosado wrapper, cultivated at Chateau de la Fuente, delivers the floral sweetness, cedar, red-pepper spice and reddish-brown colour that define the OpusX profile. Aged Dominican tobaccos underneath provide depth through espresso, leather, cocoa and earth.

Expect notes of cedar, red pepper, espresso, dark cocoa, leather, cinnamon, sweet spice, floral sweetness, earth and a faint mineral character. The cigar opens with concentrated cedar and pepper, develops espresso, leather and cocoa through the middle, then closes with a richer earth-and-spice finish. Its smaller format makes the blend feel particularly direct and intense compared with larger OpusX vitolas.

Arturo Fuente FFOX PerfecXion No. 5 is ideal for an experienced smoker who wants the depth of an OpusX without a long smoking commitment. Expect roughly 40 to 60 minutes of smoking time, depending on pace. Pair it with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, cognac, añejo tequila, a porter, stout or a structured red wine.
