About Backwoods Cigars
Are they made in the Dominican Republic or have they been rolled by a Cowboy in the wild west?
The truth is they are made in the Dominican Republic using quality tobacco, which has been aged for a minimum of 12 months to bring out the natural sweetness before the leaves have been enhanced with a sweet flavoring.
The Backwoods cigars were introduced nationally in 1981 and were an overnight success. Their unique structure and look – “WILD & MILD” as it was called, with a frayed end, tapered body and unfinished head, had great appeal to cigar smokers.
Many modern cigars are rolled to a very refined and specific shape, which often compresses the tobacco unevenly across the cigar. The Backwoods are rolled loosely using an even pressure, which results in a rustic looking cigar but draws easily and evenly packing plenty of flavor.

They taste pretty good, but they usually need quite a few relights, while most other natural leaf blunts only need one or two. I also wish the package had a ziploc seal, rather than just a folding end. I’d personally opt for something else, unless you’re a big fan of the flavour.

I prefer honey backwoods but these are a nice thick wrap and roll really well. (I use them to roll blunts)

Absolutely my favorite flavor! I still can’t believe that people take out the tobacco & use the Virginia wrapper as a blunt skin? Maybe tasty but I’d Never Never break one of these delicious cigars up for other purposes & trust me I’m chronic. In fact I actually was introduced to Backwoods”Russian Cream” flavored cigars by another person rolling the Virginia wrapper as a blunt skin so thanks I guess!! Me I smoke them as cigars the way Backwoods made them. Why not five stars? The need to a relight too often so if I could give 4.5 stars then yes 4.5 STARS. Thanks Cigar Chief for having such a wonderful selection & very reasonable prices!!

WOOOOOOOOW THESE ARE SO DAMN MOIST, we’re do I even begin, I pull a few out of the pack and they are pitch black and are wet AF. THESE ARE BACKWOODS🙌 If I could give them a 10 star I would.. good work guys!

Russian Creams and honey berry is everybody’s first backwood, The flavor is incredibly strong to the point where its essentially like flavored rolling paper, the only use for these is if your weed is really really bad and you want to mask the flavor of the kush.
Everybody starts somewhere and with backwoods because of rappers its always Russians or Honey berries, most basic of the basic so i gotta go with 2 stars.
