BLACKENED S84 Shade to Black Toro by Drew Estate is a handcrafted Nicaraguan cigar that combines the smooth, creamy qualities of an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper with a dark, Maduro-rich core. The blend was created through the collaboration of Drew Estate founder Jonathan Drew, Metallica co-founder James Hetfield and BLACKENED American Whiskey master distiller Rob Dietrich.

The 6 x 52 Toro features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Connecticut River Valley Broadleaf Maduro binder. Its filler blend combines Nicaraguan Maduro and Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro tobaccos, giving the cigar more depth and character than a traditional Connecticut-wrapped profile.

The result is a balanced medium-bodied smoke with a creamy texture and evolving flavours of cedar, toast, cashew, almond, coffee, cocoa, earth, leather and pepper. The lighter wrapper contributes natural sweetness and nuttiness, while the darker binder and fillers create a rich, chocolaty core and a more substantial finish.

The Toro format provides a longer smoking experience and allows the S84 blend to develop gradually from a smooth opening into deeper, spicier Maduro notes.
