Unfortunately, this one didn’t really do it for me. It started with a very mild tobacco aroma and a slight cocoa note after lighting, but beyond that it was mostly a tobacco-forward smoke with very little flavor development. There was a slight creaminess into the second third and it produced plenty of smoke, but I found the overall profile fairly bland.
The biggest issue was the construction. The wrapper started splitting as I smoked it, eventually requiring a small amount of cigar glue to keep it together. The cigar also seemed somewhat dry when I initially cut it, although I can’t say what caused that.
I gave it a fair chance and even purged it to see if the flavors would improve, but ultimately I wasn’t enjoying it enough to continue and discarded it with more than half the cigar remaining.

When reviewing a cigar I try to take the cost into account. At 9.50 a stick and being a Connecticut wrapper I expect tobacco and lots of creamy smoke. I expect this cigar to be an easy smoking morning type of smoke. I was not disappointed it did everything I wanted. As for construction this cigar surprised me it feels like a 25$ stick. It burns very even and have had no issues. I always let cigars rest in my humidor for a week or two after delivery. I will buy this line again. Was hesitant but it outperformed all my expectations.
