About Bolivar Cigars
Bolivar is among the strongest, most full bodied of all Habanos. It boasts an unrivaled richness of flavour in is blend of Vuelta Abajo zone filler and binder tobaccos that makes it one of the most sought-after marques amongst experienced smokers. Made using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally by hand – technique and is the brand of choice for enthusiasts who enjoy strong flavours.

This is a formidable little smoke. Classic Bolivar robustness. Great draw and clouds of rich earthy, smoke. While its size suggest a quick smoke you will want to sit down and enjoy this one. Very good smoking experience. Slight uneven burn but not troublesome.

Smoking one as I write this. It’s more like a stick of fragrant incense than smoking a cigar as it is far too tightly rolled to the point of being unsmokeable. Completely plugged yet again. And using the easy draw tool subjects cigar to undue pressure often resulting in cracked binder and wrapper it’s so tightly rolled. Cuba should send their rollers to the Dominican Republic to learn how to properly roll a cigar. This is a very common problem with most Cubans I have purchased from Cigar Chief over the past 2 years. That’s communism for yeah. I still prefer the aroma of Cubans over new world cigars but this has become an expensive waste of debased Canadian currency.

Perfect cigar. Started off with some hints of sweetness and then a little bit of spice, and finished off sweet again. If you’re looking for a 30-45 minute smoke this is perfect!

Decent little smoke, fairly generic flavor profile. I think there is better for less money from other brands.

Writing this currently smoking. This might be the best Cuban I smoked to date. Salted caramel with notes of cedar and wood with spice following. Last 1/3 spice picks up the lead. Amazing, just wow.
