Brick House Robusto Double Connecticut pairs a genuine Connecticut Shade wrapper and a Connecticut Broadleaf binder with the acclaimed Nicaraguan filler blend found in Brick House Classic in a 5 x 54 format. It is rated mild in strength and made in Nicaragua.
Brick House Double Connecticut is built on the acclaimed Nicaraguan filler blend found in Brick House Classic. The result is a rich, flavourful smoke with notes of spice and pepper at mild strength.
The 5 x 54 Robusto is a compact format with a thick ring gauge. Robusto Double Connecticut gives smokers who prefer this size the full Brick House Double Connecticut blend in a familiar vitola. The Double Connecticut range is offered in six sizes, so you can match the blend to the session.
Brick House was introduced by Julius Newman in 1937 and inspired by the house in which he was born, the only brick house in his small Hungarian village, where family, friends and neighbours gathered nightly. It was reintroduced more than 80 years later by third generation owners Eric and Bobby Newman. Cigar Aficionado has named Brick House to its Top 25 Cigars list in 2010, 2016, 2022 and 2024. Every cigar is made at J.C. Newman PENSA in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Value for money can’t be beat. A light cigar, with lots of white smoke output.

These are really a great stick they burn evenly from start to finish very enjoyable smoke better than a lot of cigars at more expensive price point. Definitely worth a try bang for your buck it’s a great smoke.

I would rate Brick House Double Connecticut as a premium cigar in its price bracket. Few other cigars can match the burn and flavor quality that these possess. Brick House Double Connecticut is my default go-to cigar and one I keep ample stock of for guests. It’s great for less affluent enthusiasts looking for quality on a reduced budget.

I don’t know how this cigar did it for that price but I was not disappointed in the slightest.

A very very plaisant smoke smooth all the way very balanced, mild but a lot of caracter. If you like mild to medium cigars for the price its a must have in humidor

Very good cigar! I bought 5 sticks, the wrapper of two of them were a little damaged, nothing that jeopardized the experience though. Burned uneven the first third, and got better towards the end. Great mild to medium flavour. Great smoke overall. I would definitely buy more, specifically around 10 bucks each.

There’s a bad bitter aftertaste

Definitely a good stick for the value. It’s not my favourite flavour a little too spicy or pepper like flavour. Definitely on the medium side. I would stock a few for a whiskey sip with a buddy.

I freaking LOVE Brick House cigars. They are fantastic in their own right, but especially in the price bracket. The construction is great for the most part, though I have seen some canoeing on some sticks. I honestly won’t rule out that it was my fault for not lighting it properly though. Anyhow, I was originally going to give this 4 stars because I just don’t think I’m a huge fan of Connecticuts, but that’s not the cigar’s fault. I still enjoyed the smoke with a coffee, it burned properly and the ash was solid. Very nice creamy/buttery smoke that went well with coffee, however I haven’t had a chance to try one with a scotch yet; may be a very interesting pair.
