Tried this cigar for the first time today after receiving them a couple days ago.
It did not live up to its description. I found it very plain, a flat smoke. None of the descriptors were present in the taste.
Felt dry out of the sleeve, but burned well and even, if a little fast. Drew well.
Disappointing as I was really looking forward to the chocolate, espresso and spice tones.

So after treating these cigars in a Boveda recovery bag for a month, then a couple more weeks in a well controlled humidor, I tried this cigar again.
VERY much improved.
While I didn’t get the dark chocolate as much as I’d like, the espresso, leather and earth overtones were quite enjoyable. Burned even and at a much reduced rate. Smooth smoke, drew well and able to smoke down to the band without harshness.
