CAO Flathead Carb is a box pressed muscle car tribute built on a brawny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and a blend that is heavy on Nicaraguan leaf, in a 6 x 60 format. It is made in Nicaragua and rated medium to full in strength.
Hand shaped to deliver a striking flat top, CAO Flathead uses a Connecticut Habano binder with Dominican Piloto Cubano ligero and Nicaraguan ligero fillers. The line earned a 95 rating from Cigar Aficionado and is rated medium to full in strength. Espresso, dark chocolate, leather, earth and black pepper form the core.
The 6 x 60 Carb is a wide, long format with a big smoke output. CAO Flathead Carb suits smokers who want the Flathead flat top and square press in this size.
Inspired by hot rods and pinup girls, Flathead names its frontmarks after engine parts. The box has a lid that is easily removed and used as wall art, and it includes a collectible pinup girl flysheet. CAO goes where the tobacco takes it, sourcing leaf from the jungles of the Amazon, the mountains of Colombia, the valleys of the Dominican Republic and the volcanoes of Nicaragua.

Very full strength cigar. I purchased a box a little while ago and have some aging in humidor.
Good smoke but harsh towards the end. Would probably not buy again.

Smoked one of these that had been resting in my humidor for about a year. It was one of the best cigars I have ever smoked. There is a lot of personal preference involved, of course, but I would definitely be looking for more..

Very distinct in both shape and taste, this is one of those cigar that you can pick it out blind and remember it as soon as you take the first puff.

I bought a few of these at my local Sobey’s (Canadian maritime grocery store). Absolutely loved it. So smooth. Burns great. Tastes great. Next crypto bull run it’s on for boxes and boxes.
Don’t sleep on this cigar. Just fantastic.

I would say it’s a full strength cigar, Note of Dark Roasted Coffee and Leather. That’s all I can say.

This was originally my favourite Maduro cigar, the CAO Flathead Carb. I’ve since found other Maduro’s that I enjoy more. Anytime there’s a new cigar smoker at the lounge, I always recommend this stick to them. It has a rich chocolatey flavour profile with heavy plumes of smoke. Great dessert stick after a good meal!
On a side note,I’d gladly share more reviews if there was a reward system that gave back.
