Casa Turrent 1942 Robusto is a box pressed Mexican cigar from the Casa Turrent 1942 series, a classic 5 1/4 x 50 robusto. It is rated Medium to Full in strength.
It comes from the same company that brought you Te Amo cigars, and from the oldest and largest grower in Mexico. Alberto and Alejandro Turrent, owners of Nueva Matacapan de Tabacos, are the first family of Mexico’s cigar industry, and they are also the largest grower of cigar tobacco in the country.
The wrapper is a Mexican Negro San Andrés colorado leaf, the binder is Mexican Criollo, and the filler is Mexican. The San Andrés maduro leaf they grow outside of Veracruz is world renowned for its quality, and many of America’s most popular premium cigar brands use their tobaccos. The 1942 series is made at the Casa Turrent factory in Mexico, in the same box pressed sizes as the 1901 series.

Another excellent cigar from Casa Turrent. The first third was reasonably mild but then it really comes to life. Lots of smoke and a great earth leathery flavour. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

REALLY a nice stick , it came a little bit square like it was box pressed , beautiful construction , the draw was PERFECT , at light up it started very smooth with a beautiful body , the amount of smoke that this stick is making is out of the world , beautiful white smoke , towards the 2/3 it really starts to talk and , lot of earth notes , not harsh at all even on the finish , very good product , even better then PREMIUM cigars i’ve tasted
