You never know what you may get. This month, September 2026 ALL the cigars were fairly decent so veery enjoyable. Sadly sometimes there may be 2 cigars that are so-so but usually most fair well like this monrth 🙂

This was my first experience with the Cigar Chief monthly cigar subscription, and overall I was pretty happy with the September box. The selection had a nice variety, including an Arturo Fuente Spanish Lonsdale MT, My Father No. 5 Toro, Bribón Classic Robusto, El Mago The James Avenue Habano Toro, Bob’s Favorite Snack Connecticut Toro Gordo, and a 10-pack of Montecristo Shorts. I really liked the mix of premium cigars and different sizes and blends, and having a Cuban included was a nice touch.
That said, not every cigar was a winner for me. The Bob’s Favorite Snack Connecticut in particular didn’t work for my palate—I found it fairly tobacco-forward and lacking the sweetness and flavor complexity I enjoy, and the wrapper also split badly during the smoke. Still, I think the overall selection provided good variety and gave me several cigars I’m genuinely looking forward to trying. For the price, especially with the chance of receiving an ultra-premium bonus cigar, I think the subscription is a fun way to discover cigars I might not otherwise pick up myself.
Overall, a solid first box and I’m definitely interested to see what future months bring.
