Curivari Buenaventura Maduro BV560 is a Full 5 1/2 x 56 square pressed Nicaraguan puro with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, sized as a Robusto Grande. It is part of the popular Buenaventura line, which pairs sweetness with spice and complexity.
It is a Nicaraguan puro from the boutique cigar maker Curivari, introduced in Europe in the early 2000s and brought to the United States in 2012. Its 5 1/2 x 56 dimensions put it in the Robusto Grande category, a format many smokers choose when they already know how much time they want to spend with a cigar.
The 56 ring gauge gives the maduro wrapper more room to show its sweetness and spice, and the square pressed shape makes the cigar firm and comfortable to hold. Nicaragua has a long history of tobacco growing, and cigars made there are often chosen for the way they balance strength with flavour.
Among experienced smokers who want a strong cigar, Curivari Buenaventura Maduro BV560 is a cigar worth setting aside space for.
