Six months of aging in single malt Scotch whisky casks gives Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour Churchill a distinctive depth of coffee, wood and spice. This medium to full Churchill measures 7 x 48 and is handmade in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian Habano Marron Oscuro wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.
The dark, oily wrapper brings depth and natural sweetness, while the cask aged Nicaraguan Condega filler adds a refined whisky character to the blend. Pepper, black coffee, dried fruit, leather and warm spice develop through a long, balanced smoke that suits a relaxed evening or after dinner occasion.

Not sure about the hype. I found it to be a nice smoke, but unremarkable. There are better options for a lower price point. I will likely not repurchase again.
