The Late Hour reflects the darkness during which Sir Winston was at his most creative. Davidoff has selected a shiny oily Habano Oscuro Ecuador wrapper in a beautiful dark chocolate color, introducing the first blend featuring tobacco aged in the finest Scotch single malt whisky casks. This Robusto format provides intensified flavors of wood, spice, coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruit and vintage leather, creating bold palate stimulation and a rich aroma.

Where do I start….what an immensely disappointing cigar. After reading reviews and flavor profiles I was eagerly awaiting smoking this cigar.
I left it in my humidor for a few months for aging. I lit it up for a special occasion and couldn’t have been more disappointed. The burn was not good, it would not stay lit and the ash was flaky. I had to constantly relight the cigar.
The ash flaked off consistently and made a mess. The flavors were ok but I could not finish it with the burn issues and flaking mess. I smoked half way through then gave in. I’ve had Davidoff cigars in the past and have enjoyed them but this one was terrible. For what I paid it was a huge waste. One of the most disappointing cigar experiences I have ever had and I’m a 20+ year smoker with lots of smoking experience.
