Very nice smoke. My first foray into the black rings. Starts off a little more rowdy than the typical Davidoff, but mellows out pretty fast. Burns beautifully.

I’m very disappointed by this one. Immediately upon lighting it, my girlfriend noted that it smelt very bad. This is compared to the Nicaragua line and some other cigars that I had smoked in the days before that she noted smelled pleasant.
The taste reflects the smell as it wasn’t very enjoyable. I typically prefer darker wrappers and stronger cigars, so I know the issue wasn’t it’s intensity but the genuinely awful taste.
The burn on this was abysmal, I had to touch it up so many times that my fresh lighter ran out of fluid. I couldn’t take more than 3 draws without a major run starting.
Finally, the worst of it, is that despite brushing my teeth and using mouth wash I absolutely could not get the horrible taste out of my mouth for the whole night and the entire next day.
I would not recommend this cigar to my worst enemy.

Great value for the price! The room note is very incredible and it gets lots of compliments! It’s no fault of davidoffs that it must suffer the plain bands that all cigars in Canada do! If we want change then vote for change and make your voice heard to your local representatives
