The El Mago Mistico Robusto is a 5 x 50 box pressed cigar with a two tone look. A darker African Cameroon wrapper is capped at the head and foot with a light tan leaf. It is a medium bodied cigar that puts flavour complexity ahead of raw strength.
Under the Cameroon wrapper sit an Ecuadorian binder and a mix of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. The cigar is handmade in Nicaragua, and the box press helps it sit comfortably in the hand and between the fingers.
Expect sweet cocoa, spice, floral nuances and cedar, with black pepper, toasted nuts and touches of brown sugar. A little dark chocolate bitterness and a savoury, creamy quality tie the profile together across a 45 to 60 minute smoke.
