The key advantage of the El Mago Pepe Toro Tubo is its 6 x 52 box pressed Toro format packed in individual square tubos, giving you a firmly shaped, travel ready cigar that protects the dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper wherever you go. This blend uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over a U.S. grown broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, rolled at MGE Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua, to deliver a medium to full experience with rich, layered flavour. Expect a core built around creamy cashew and sourdough bread, supported by cocoa nibs, cedar, earthy tones, bitter espresso, cinnamon, black pepper, raisin like sweetness, and touches of hay and leather as the cigar progresses.
Named in honour of brand owner Nick Fusco’s grandfather Gonzalo “Pepe” Torre, the cigar continues El Mago’s theme of tying each line to his family story and Miami roots. The 6 x 52 box press sits comfortably in the hand and between the fingers, while the square tubo format adds a distinctive presentation in the humidor and makes it easy to slip a single stick into a pocket or travel case. With a limited first production of 600 boxes of 12 cigars, the El Mago Pepe Toro Tubo offers boutique scarcity alongside its flavour driven Mexican San Andrés profile.
