Factory No.49 Cigars
- Size: 5 1/2 x 49
- Strength: Medium-Full
The secret to the Factory 49 smooth and full tasting flavor is it’s Ecuador Sun Grown wrapper. This is the same wrapper leaf used on famous top quality brand cigars. The filler & binder are made from a blend of specially aged Dominican tobaccos.
Factory 49 cigars are so reasonably priced because of the slight discoloration in the Sun Grown Ecuador wrapper leaf. This does not cause any loss of aroma or flavor in this quality cigar; but makes it more affordable.
These great tasting cigars are also cello-wrapped and sold in bundles, allowing for even greater savings that we pass on to our customers.
Factory 49 cigars are undoubtedly one of the greatest cigar values on the market.
These fine cigars are custom made with aged, fully cured imported tobaccos. These cigars are predominately natural tobacco with non-tobacco ingredients added.
- Slightly off color
- Ecuador Sun Grown Wrapper
- Aged Dominican Filler
- Extraordinary Value

Just received these and I am very impressed! Read some reviews online before ordering and took a shot. Although the have a mild flavour (I usually prefer medium at minimum) these were a fantastic everyday smoke.

I have ordered these and enjoy them very much. A great starter cigar or everyday smoke. Good smoke production and not bitter. Cheers. Larry

I do not leaving negative reviews and on the positive side most of the cigars I get from Cigar Chief are very good – but these are unsmokeable – I have tried 3 with the same result – they are so hard even a new and sharp cigar cutter does not manage to cut through – tried a pair of scissors and the bottom just crumbled – I guess I have wasted over $80 – very disappointed!
John Cacique –
I did not enjoy this cigar. Due to the short filler, I kept having to spit pieces of tabacco during my smoke. This happened with every cigar in the bundle.

got one just to try, hardest snipping thing I have ever seen, started laughing thinking this can’t be good, but it smoked alrite a lil loose the taste was mildeim ok no harshy bitter, not bad for the tag

Nothing good at all. The level of Guantanamera. It is even difficult to cut, because it squeezes as cigarette. Just a piece of crap.

I gave these 5 Stars because of the extraordinary value. The other reviews on this cigar that were 1 star were because the way they cut and all I can say to that is maybe use a better cutter because I never had an issue. I wouldn’t normally give them 5 stars but if people are complaining about the cut and tobacco getting in their mouth then I can vouch for the frugal smoker and say these are a great deal. Very happy with my purchase and will be buying again soon!

Ordered these for the first time. I was expecting to find them compromised in some way as they are called “throwouts” no 49. However, I don’t see anything wrong with them. They are well constructed and I fail to see any flaws in their texture. The flavor and quality of tobacco is excellent! Best bargain cigar out there.

My first review… so take that with a grain of salt. Yes, agree with other reviewers, the end cap was TOUGH to cut…but the rest was great. Very easy draw, perfect burn, right down to the nub.
If you’re looking for ‘hints of chocolate, spices, etc”… Im not your guy. lol. My palette is neither sophisticated or trained enough to give you that.
But for $3.50 a stick? Didnt offend or overwhelm my taste buds.
If you’re looking for a cheap humidor stocker, or something to give away at your next bachelor party or backyard BBQ (post pandemic), try these. You wont embarrass yourself OR break your wallet.

Bang for your buck, these are a great everyday cigar. Pretty mellow overall and have a good draw. Ash won’t hang on long so watch out. For the price don’t expect anything too complex, but definitely a good dog walk stick or something for a beginner at a good price point.

Not a very good cigar. They have a paper wrapper with a crumply leaf cover that falls off as you smoke. They taste ok but they are a pain to smoke.

I enjoy the flavor and burn of these. Along with the price.

Good ratio price/value. I enjoy them. Fresh

Discount for a reason. The paper binder makes these difficult to cut. They’re good to practice your end cap cutting skills though! If you master just clipping the cap and none of the fill, it’s not as bad as the reviews would have you believe. However if you catch any fill in your cutter, yes it’s difficult to cut through.
Once you get it cut, it’s mediocre at best, but what do you expect for the price? They’re a decent burn and only the odd ones needs the help of a draw tool to smoke easily. Nice for an early morning smoke or to give to that one friend who only smokes when he visits you while you enjoy a slightly better grade of cigar.
