Freud SuperEgo Torpedo cigars present the SuperEgo blend in a tapered 6 x 52 figurado format that concentrates its smooth sweetness, cedar and spice. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, this medium bodied cigar is wrapped in Ecuadorian Corojo leaf over a Sumatran binder and a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long filler tobaccos.
The Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper gives the blend its signature notes of cinnamon, sweet cedar and soft earth. A fragrant Sumatran binder adds aromatic spice and a toffee like richness, while Dominican tobaccos provide cream, leather and roasted nuts. Nicaraguan fillers add deeper earth, coffee and a measured pepper note, creating a balanced profile with complexity rather than excessive strength.
The cigar begins with sweet cedar, cream and baking spice before developing toasted almond, coffee, leather and brown sugar. Cocoa, graham cracker and mild black pepper emerge through the middle, followed by a clean finish of oakwood, sweet spice and natural tobacco. Freud SuperEgo Torpedo pairs well with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, a rich amber ale or a smooth single malt Scotch whisky.

Well, being a 90% Cuban leaf smoker. I have recently been testing other cigar brands, I’ve heard good things about the Freud’s Cigars, and ordered a box of ten for testing,. Im ⅓ into the first one and already quite impressed by the simple and complex profile. Easy to smoke, a medium draw and also strength and taste. My first pull, I was reminded of a young Monte no.2. With the current price point (on sale for 19.00$/Stick), this is a very good cigar. I;d happily recommend to anyone that has been smoking for a long time, as it offers a lot to the seasoned smoker.

I was very excited to try this cigar but disappointed. It didn’t draw well. It didn’t burn well. The cigar from the start to the end was a struggle
