This cigar was made by Noel Rojas. Noel is a talented young blender who we have featured before on our Youtube channel showing us how to blend a cigar. The video is titled “Rojas Cigars, Privada Puritos”. It’s one of my favorite videos and it is a great way to get a better understanding of tobacco. Noel has been crushing it lately with his Street Tacos, so I thought it was only right to follow up a taco with a churro, know what I mean? If you have never had a churro, they are golden fried dough with sugar and cinnamon, and let me tell you, this cigar smokes just like that. I’m in love with it, people!
Tasting Notes: In the first third, I get dried peach, red pepper, cream, cedar, and graham. Cinnamon on the retrohale. Sweet smoke! Tamarind tartness, maple syrup, white florals. Perfect burn and draw. For the second third, a more bready note emerges, like a crisp ciabatta. Fresh cut green apple, leather, and cream. The cedar is starting to become more oaky. Tamarind is still there along with raspberry jam and charred cedar. In the final third the cinnamon kicks up a notch and the tamarind remains steady. There’s also a hint of sweet granola with maple syrup. The apricot is coming back, too. Towards the end, wasabi is prevalent on the retrohale along with a horseradish kick.
Pairing Notes: Brandy. Cognac. Apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Cinnamon churro. Cinnamon doughnut. Jelly doughnut. Pad Thai. After BBQ. With granola trail mix. Animal crackers.

This is such a great smoke by Rojas it’s unlike anything else he’s done! It’s got lots of spices flavour like baked goods! It goes great in the morning with coffee as it’s a very creamy smoke!
