H. Upmann 1844 Anejo Toro FreshBox is a medium-to-full-bodied 6 x 54 Toro handmade at the Flor de Copán factory in Honduras. The Añejo—Spanish for “aged” or “mature”—was created around tobaccos aged for at least five years before rolling, producing a smooth but substantial profile with rich earth, cocoa, leather, cinnamon, and sweet tobacco character.
A dark, oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper covers a USA Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder and a long-filler blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Dominican tobaccos. The double-fermented Habano wrapper adds spice and depth, while the aged multi-country filler combination builds complexity without allowing the cigar’s peppery edge to overwhelm the blend.
Expect notes of earth, cedar, cocoa, leather, cinnamon, sweet tobacco, cream, baking spice, red pepper, caramel, and a subtle citrus accent. The cigar begins with aromatic cedar, floral sweetness, and cocoa, then grows into richer leather, creamy sweet tobacco, and cinnamon-like spice. A more pronounced but balanced pepper note develops later in the smoking experience, leading into a long, flavorful finish.
The 6 x 54 Toro offers a comfortable draw, generous smoke production, and a typically 60- to 75-minute smoking experience. Each FreshBox contains three H. Upmann 1844 Añejo Toro cigars in airtight, humidity-controlled packaging with a Boveda 69% humidity pack for convenient travel, gifting, sharing, or storage before the cigars go into a humidor.
FreshBox pack of 3 cigars; compatible with any FreshBox humidor
