Made using the Tripa Larga, Totalmente a Mano – long filler, totally hand made – technique, using filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco zone.

One of my all time favorite cigars. Perfect at any time of the day but especially good with a morning coffee. Great delicate start with abundant smoke production and increasing complexity. The strength builds quite nicely as you approach the end. I highly recommend keeping a couple of the Epicure No. 2s in the box though the price can be a bit hard to take.

Bought two to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary; absolutely stunning.
Flavour profile is delicate, yet complex while also being very very well balanced. The roll was perfect for both, the burn was even, the ash was tight. I even left one in it’s tube wrapped in a thin sheet of cedar it comes in for a few months, not in a humidor or even a controlled environment, and there was no change at all in the quality, flavour or experience. I honestly thought the tube would let moisture through however tight the gap between tube and cap was.
These were very expensive for me but well worth the splurge for a rare treat or to celebrate a special occasion.
This is one of those rare occasions this day and age where the hype is real and well deserved, and the quality is worth the price paid.
