Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Toro has a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper that drives a chocolate centred, medium to full profile in a 6 x 54 format. Under the broadleaf lies a densely packed core of well aged Nicaraguan binder and long filler tobaccos grown on Garcia family estates in Estelí, delivering layered notes of dark chocolate, leather, roasted nuts, dark coffee, earth and black pepper with hints of cream and dark fruit. Blended by Jaime Garcia and crafted at My Father Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua, the Toro showcases excellent construction, an easy draw and a slow, even burn, offering a rich yet balanced smoke that highlights the Garcia style in a more cocoa forward expression than many My Father releases.
