Joya de Nicaragua Cigars Antaño Robusto Grande
- Size: 5 1/2 x 52
- Strength: Full
Nicaraguan Strong
Spicy and Robust. Antaño, in Spanish, literally means “yesteryear”, a word that expresses the soul of the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970. We crafted this cigar as a tribute to the power and essence of the “Puro” that helped build our legendary brand.
Made exclusively by hand and entirely of Nicaraguan harvested tobaccos, this cigar is an ultra robust spicy smoke with earthy finish, unbridled body and aroma, which showcases the authentic Nicaraguan “Puro”.

Thanks for carrying this brand which in my opinion is the best cigar under $50 anywhere. These are strong cigars for sure but they are so smooth that you hardly notice the strength, these cigars can easily be enjoyed by relatively new cigar smokers. These are fabulous and thanks again for carrying them.

Although rated as a full strength cigar I found it to be a smooth tasty smoke. To me it was more like smoking a tasty medium strength cigar. My only criticism was the smoke output was a bit lacklustre and the draw could have been a bit easier. Otherwise it was a great cigar and one that I will be ordering again.

Thank you very much for carrying these cigars! Very smooth smoke, tasty strong cigar for sure! Hardly noticed the strength until about the end. I found the draw to be easy and the smoke output was phenomenal along with a nice even burn. Great cigars under $20. Easily enjoyable for relatively new smokers, definitely going to be ordering more.

Like the other reviews mentioned would not have pegged this as a full strength. Great flavor, had trouble putting it down. Razor sharp burn line, solid ash, superb draw, smoke output was hit and miss at first but seemed to correct itself 1/3 down. Definitely box worthy

Great cigar for the price. Like the other reviews rated as full strength but found it to be in my preference of medium smooth. Good draw, even burn start to finish with plenty of smoke. Taste was enjoyable with no burn for last third. Will definitely buy again. Cuban cigars take notice Nicaragua leaf is taking over. my only recommendation is to let sit for at least 6 months as a bit fresh out of the box.

New at the cigar game, but I’ve definitely been spoiled with these gems.
As others have said above, medium to strong, smooth; amazing on their own & full of flavour right to the end .
I’ve had others including higher priced Cubans, but I keep coming back to these.
Blair’s comment above nailed it
