About Joya de Nicaragua Cigars
Nicaraguan Strong
Spicy and Robust. Antaño, in Spanish, literally means “yesteryear”, a word that expresses the soul of the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970. We crafted this cigar as a tribute to the power and essence of the “Puro” that helped build our legendary brand.
Made exclusively by hand and entirely of Nicaraguan harvested tobaccos, this cigar is an ultra robust spicy smoke with earthy finish, unbridled body and aroma, which showcases the authentic Nicaraguan “Puro”.

Very happy with these cigars! As always, CC delivered promptly in excellent condition, carefully packed with humidity pack. Cigar draws well, delivers plenty of mild/medium smoke. I didn’t discern hints of caramel, sumac or leather…just pleasant tobacco flavours. Lots of smoke, no nausea or head rush, good price point, my idea of a good smoke. Will keep some of these in the humidor.

A nice stick. Lots of fairly thick and tasty smoke that was mostly tobacco flavour. I found myself holding the smoke little longer than usual.
The first third to halfway was thick and rich and totally enjoyable. The last part was actually somewhat more flavourful – thick, rich and delicious. I enjoyed smoking it down as far as I could without burning myself. It also left a delicious after taste that lasted a long time after I finished smoking it. Most enjoyable.
The only complaint I had was that the outer wrapper seemed a bit thin and pealed a bit in the last third. Not enough to annoy me but it was a bit disappointing. I will, however, order more as I really enjoyed it.

This was an excellent cigar and can hold its own with much higher priced cigars. Joya may be my next permanent go to cigar. Only downside is that it did not come in a nice cigar box.

Don’t let the wrapper fool you. This is a good, strong smoke. Very good value. Even burn. Tastes good down to the nub.

Nice smooth cigar with hints that rival Cuban smoothness. You can taste the fields and climate it is grown. With a slow growing strength that introduces a more medium strength flavor towards the last 3rd . Recommend a Sherry cask Scotch to sip on while partaking the cigar.

Highly recommend this cigar. It is not rolled too tight which leads to a big airy draw that produces thick flavourful smoke. A nice even burn with a mild taste. Perfect for beginners. Overall, a great cigar.
