A 95 rated blend built around a rich San Andrés Maduro wrapper sets the tone for La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Robusto, delivering a deep, refined profile that stands out immediately. Handcrafted in Nicaragua under the guidance of José ‘Pepín’ García, this cigar leans into bold flavour while staying controlled and balanced, thanks to a core of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos.
The 5 x 50 soft box pressed format concentrates its character, producing dense notes of dark cocoa, espresso, and layered spice with a steady burn and consistent draw. There is a natural richness throughout, but it never feels heavy or overdone, instead building into a smooth, grounded finish with touches of earth and cedar that linger without overpowering the palate.

Nicely constructed, easy draw, it burns well, but no flavour until you’re half-way down.

Nice cigar. Very firm pack and box press. Draw seemed like it might be a little tight, but once lit it was fine. Cocoa and spice for the most part and then halfway down the cigar does get creamier. This tapers off in the final third with more of the same spice, cocoa and earth. Good construction and burn time was about an hour 15.
