From the heart of darkness
In medium strength, but top aromatic and pleasant smoke, La Aurora Cameroon represents the really first modern bet by La Aurora, a step forward in the tradition of the original cigar manufacturer in Dominican Republic, since 1903. With a large portfolio of different vitolas and rings that have a range from 30 to 58 thickness, La Aurora Cameroon gets its name from the “heart of darkness”, Cameroon, Africa, where its red and shiny wrapper was formerly harvested (nowadays, is Cameroon seed grown in Ecuador). The binder is from Ecuador and the filler is Dominican and Nicaragua. The result is a pitch-perfect classic blend, very well balanced. An aromatic smoke made by the expert hands of La Aurora and its centenary tradition.
Tasting note
A medium-bodied cigar that provides a pleasant smoke taste and in which the sweetness of its spicy cinnamon notes are evident, along with a touch of cocoa and notes of wood and red citric fruits that linger throughout the entire smoke.

Enjoyed this one. Lots of smoke. Variety of flavours. Cedar, cinnamon and fruit. Would likely do better with some aging in the humidor. Terrific burn. Didn’t see many reviews here but took a chance and will buy again.

Had one at the fire pit yesterday. Good taste, lots of smoke, even burn. It is a smooth Cameroon. I will definitely buy more .

I agree with all the other reviews, very good stick. Nice taste, good draw and burn. It even had the original bands under the plain one. Fair asking price ($17.75 as of writing), I’ll definitely buy some more in the future.
