The dark San Andrés wrapper provides a rich base of cocoa, sweet earth, roasted coffee and peppery spice. A Dominican Piloto Cubano binder adds structure and aromatic depth, while Dominican Piloto Cubano and Criollo ’98 long fillers contribute cedar, leather, earth and a creamy tobacco sweetness. The blend delivers the depth associated with a Maduro wrapper while retaining balance, steady combustion and a smooth finish.
The cigar opens with toasted cedar, cocoa, earth and white pepper before developing espresso, leather, dark chocolate and sweet wood. Citrus and subtle dried fruit provide contrast through the middle, while notes of molasses, licorice and spice appear toward the finish. La Galera Maduro Chaveta Robusto pairs well with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, a dark stout or a rich single malt Scotch whisky.
