Luciano Foreign Affair is a cigar line crafted by Luciano Cigars, spearheaded by CEO and co-founder Luciano Meirelles, alongside Mike Dounoulis (regional sales manager), and Frank Cossio from Astorian Cigar Co.
Luciano and his collaborators envisioned this cigar as more than just a smoke—they saw it as an expression of unity and connection. As Luciano Meirelles puts it, cigars create a space where “barriers are bridged, and guards lowered… no matter how foreign we may be to one another, the humanity in us overwhelms our perceptive differences.”
Frank Cossio noted the blend “offers boldness alongside sweetness… so balanced you can fully enjoy it without becoming overwhelmed”.

One of my favourite Luciano cigars and in a really great vitola like the Rothschild! It had creamy smoke and some pepper but fairly smooth smoke.theres a sourdough bready flavour and a dry wood flavour I could only attribute to the Sumatra leaf or the Costa Rican leaf which adds something different that’s not always found. It’s very enjoyable and welcoming to a beginner or an experienced aficionado. The burn and draw were perfect. Sadly there was no real band underneath the plain label.
